SafeKid Alert started in 2019 from a frighteningly simple observation: hot-car tragedies were still happening, year after year, despite hardware pads, seat reminders, and rear-seat legislation that kept getting delayed. We believed the answer was already in every parent's pocket — a phone and a Bluetooth car.
Today, SafeKid Alert protects children and pets in vehicles across the country. Same idea, same technology: use what's already there, and trigger the alert the instant a parent walks away from a loaded car.

The idea began with a question
A safer moment starts before you walk away.
In August 2019, Kenneth Briggs Sr. conceived SafeKid Alert after recognizing how easily children and pets can be mistakenly left in hot or cold vehicles.
The goal was practical: use the phone and vehicle Bluetooth families already carry to create one more reminder before a dangerous mistake becomes a tragedy.
