1. Liability Disclaimer
SafeKid Alert is a supplementary safety tool, not a substitute for parental supervision. Users assume full responsibility for the safety of their children. The app is designed to provide an additional layer of awareness — it does not eliminate the need for active, attentive parenting at all times.
2. Accuracy & Reliability
Bluetooth sensor readings and proximity alerts may vary based on vehicle make and model, environmental conditions, phone settings, battery state, and Bluetooth signal strength. SafeKid Alert does not guarantee 100% detection accuracy under all circumstances. Factors outside our control — including physical obstructions, RF interference, and device manufacturer restrictions — may affect alert delivery.
3. Emergency Services
SafeKid Alert does not automatically contact 911 or any emergency services. In any emergency situation, users must always call emergency services directly. Do not rely solely on this application to summon help. If you believe a child is in danger, call 911 immediately.
4. Horn / OBD-II Feature
The vehicle horn alert feature requires a compatible OBD-II Bluetooth adapter, which is sold separately and is not included with the SafeKid Alert app or subscription. Horn activation functionality depends on vehicle compatibility and is not guaranteed for all makes and models. SafeKid Alert is not responsible for any failure of the horn feature due to vehicle incompatibility, adapter limitations, or connection issues.
5. No Warranty
The SafeKid Alert application and all related services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. SafeKid Alert makes no representation that the app will meet your requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Age Requirement
Users must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use the SafeKid Alert service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to register for the service.
7. Subscription Terms
SafeKid Alert offers two subscription plans: $6.99/month or $59.99/year. All subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your Account Settings. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods that have already been charged. Subscription prices are subject to change with advance notice to registered users.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any content from this application or website is strictly prohibited without express written permission.
9. Data Usage
SafeKid Alert collects location data, Bluetooth proximity data, and notification delivery data to operate and improve the service. This information is used solely to power the child safety features of the application — including proximity detection and alert delivery — and to diagnose reliability issues. We do not use this data for advertising. Full details on how data is handled, stored, and shared are described in our Privacy Policy.
